What to do when I have claim?
Report the incident to your broker immediately.
You will be requested to provide us with documentation to substantiate the quantum of your claim. Where necessary, Ibiliti will appoint adjustors, investigators etc.

BUS ACCIDENT AND THEFT / HIJACK

The insured or any person related to the insured, i.e. the broker, director, trustee etc. can report a claim to our Claims department. At the scene you may contact the Emergency Road Assist / Medical Services on 0861 555 477 to arrange for roadside / medical assistance and your vehicle will be towed to the nearest repairer.

Once we have received notification of your claim, you will be requested by your broker to complete a claim form and submit required documentation relevant to the occurrence listed on the last page of the claim form.

WINDSCREEN / GLASS

The insured or any person related to the insured, i.e. the broker, director, trustee etc. or the glass supplier can report a windscreen / glass claim to or our Claims department. Once we have received notification of your claim, you will be requested to complete a windscreen / glass claim form and submit together with a repair quotation.

  • Windscreen/ Glass unless otherwise stated on your policy
  • Normal Windscreen Excess: 20% of claim minimum R1 500
  • Reduced Windscreen Excess if Ibiliti excess buy down cover is taken: Flat R500
  • Waived Windscreen Excess if any Africoach windscreen is fitted: Nil

Claims must be notified immediately.

You must report any discovery of loss covered by this policy to the SAPS within 24 hours. Where necessary, our Claims department will appoint a motor assessor/ investigator / loss adjuster.

MOTOR ACCIDENT AND THEFT / HIJACK

The insured or any person related to the insured, i.e. the broker, director, trustee etc. can report a claim to our Claims department. At the scene of an accident, you can press your Sensibiliti panic number (if taken up on your policy) and the call centre will call you or alternatively you may dial 0861 788 883 to arrange for roadside assistance and your vehicle will be towed to the nearest repairer.

  • If replaced: 15% of claim minimum R350

NON – MOTOR (ANY OTHER CLAIMS)

You must report any discovery of loss covered by this policy to the SAPS within 24 hours.

In the event of a burglary claim, the alarm activation report must be provided. This must be obtained from your alarm service provider. Where necessary, Ibiliti will appoint adjustors or investigators.

EXCESS COVER

This Policy follows the basis of valuation of the Underlying Insurer. Where you have made a claim against the underlying policy and where liability for this claim has been admitted by the Underlying Insurer and you have the obligation to pay your excess. We undertake to pay the benefit as stated on the Schedule less the inner excess. Kindly note that this claim can only be reported to your broker or the underlying insurer who will then inform us.
